    Hi all,
Called to above machine: pre wash light flashing, unable to set programme. Ran test programme as per UKW fault code guide. No motor action. Replaced brushes (fortunately new type hoover brushes fit).
Re ran test again, all functions seem ok. Still unable to run machine and pre wash light still flashes. p.s. door does lock.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in anticipation

Flashing pre wash LED or flashing start/cancel button on WMA1715 BEKO

Turn power off (not at wall )
    Select 90 degree wash
Press start and cancel button down at same time for 3 seconds and turn power button on whilst still holdingbuttons down– Start light will flash.
    Leave power on
    Select any spin position
Press start and cancel button at same time again for 3 seconds–other buttons may flash-if they do press start and cancel buttons again for 3 seconds
machine should be reset ready for use

If prewash light is lit I think this means child lock on!

    Good call………

Flashing PRE WASH LED is child lock on, you have to press both second and fourth auxiliary function buttons at the same time for 3 seconds to cancel child lock (see page 10 of user manual )

    Thanks Gentlemen,
Your expert help worked. Flashing pre wash light does mean the child lock is on. Customer obviously unknowingly set it whilst trying to clear fault lights.

You have saved another Beko machine from the scrap heap.

Thanks again, what an excellent site this is!
    Geoff 😀 😀 😀
