ParticipantCall to the above Combi- Microwave oven that is only about 14 months old. The plug fuse & monitor fuse blown. Remove control panel and found what appears to be the power board with the relays mounted on it to have several tracks blown.
According to the customer the machine blew when he opened the door following using the oven.
I can’t find any other fault with this machine.
Has anyone come across these boards blowing before and know what the cause is, I don’t really want to replace it to have it go again?

Have you checked the lamp? they are pone to taking the power board out. If thats ok then check the door switches, and they’re ok it may just be that the board blew. Had one before christmas where the tracks had blown on the board, went through everything with a fine tooth comb, all seemed ok, replaced board and hey presto! everything worked.

Thanks for the info, I’m surprised the door switches would do that, I would have expected them to take out the monitor fuse as they’re supposed to. Would just a sticky switch do this?
I will go back and double check though.
The board is available from Seme, I don’t have a part number but the price quoted was £47.55 (I think that was including VAT).
