This Zanussi is probably about 20 years old 😕

    ID1000

I’ve done the door springs before but now the cables on the springs have broke. I can’t find a part number anywhere 🙁

Can somebody please put me out of my misery, and tell me that they’re obsolete, or a part number maybe?

    Cheers 🙂

old boy eng on the zanussi range, i think you might have to kick this into touch, this model was on microfichce only, and its not listed on the TDS site. i think these were of a metal wire, wound type, and a loop formed on both ends by the cable being pushed back on itself through a metal coller, then crimped. the only the other way is if you have a sea fishing friend?, he could possibly make up a couple of heavy duty traces, with loops formed at the ends. he will know what to do. depends on how desperate you want to repair the d/w. hope that suggestion helps.

    😆

He can still use the machine, it just has a violent door opening action!

In the meantime, he’s saving the pennies for a brand new m/c from me 🙂
