    Hi,

    I have just moved into a new place which has the above washer dryer – it worked for the first few washes and drys but then all of a sudden it refused to drain. I have looked at the drainage pipe and it has no obvious blockages/kinks.

    Can anyone provide me with any advise as to what I could look at/provide me with a service manual so I could have a go at repairing the problem myself or just provide me with some advise on how much it could cost to repair.

    I am in London (N5).

    Hi

    At the bottom right hand of the appliance there is a filter that will probably need to be cleaned out.
    You will need to remove the plingth to access this.

    Have plenty of towels as if the machine is still full of water then its gonna come out at this point very fast.

    Sorry forgot to mention that I had already tried that. I cleared a bit of stuff out but it didn’t seem to make any difference.

    There was a specific problem with a fibre spacing washer breaking up inside the pump motor and jamming it. Only proper solution is to replace the pump. An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk should get things moving for you.

    Power off if you are going to do this for yourself.
