    Hi Everyone,

Hope someone can help with the following.

I have a Zanussi ZFL 1000 washing m/c. This uses the “Jetwash” system.

Although old it has given good service until recently – not washing clothes well.

I’ve investigated it and found a blocked water recirculation pipe and a recirculation pump that is burnt out. I can get a replacement but there may be another problem in that the drum is not getting sufficient water. The m/c initially fills for the wash cycle until it is about 1-2 inches deep (relative to the base of the inner rotating drum). At least double this depth of water is used during the rinse cycles. Does anyone know whether these fill levels are about right. If not and a new pressure switch is required this would make repair uneconomical.

Would apreciate any advice on these fill leves.

    Many thanks

    Mike

i think youll probably find it may well be right

if the recirc pump is faulty, it wont fill to second level, the first fill is to test components, and when all components are working fine, it will prcoeed to fill to correct level

    hope this helps
