AEG 74620 (E’code CE)

Hi all, and a belated happy new year.
The above machine was called in with the “CE” error code.
Reading through the Error Code sticky it would seem to be ……..

“CE Water distributer fault (this machine has a small motor in the dispenser to select the compartment to fill through, this in turn operates a microswitch inside the dispenser. If this has not been activated within 2 mins, then this code is displayed*very common fault we find)”

Needless to say it worked ok for me but the customer said it only happened at the end of the spin??????????
Anyone have experiance of this, part number, ease of doing etc?
Another thing I noticed was the inability to run a test program also mentioned on the sticky.
Any help much apreciated.
