Participanthi all ive got a electrolux d/w in the workshop at the min the customer has inherited it with the house they just bought it looks like the previous owners have had somthing like washing up liquid in it, i have tried rinsing it through with no joy and i had a hose with hot water running into the cabinet with the drain hose a few inches off the floor for about 20 mins then tried it again and it just frothed up again has anyone got any tips how to shift these suds????

Put A block of soap in base and switch on for about ten minutes.

Or a dash of conditioner – they’ll both destroy surface tension.

Nutradol air freshener. I discovered this purely by accident. The propelent used in aerosols will kill suds. smells nice too.

Has someone put washing up liquid in the rinse aid dispenser then? If so, take it off and rinse through in the sink? 😉

ParticipantA greasy grill or frying pan works, if one is not available, just
pour some cooking oil into it and the suds will break up, rancid oil works best.Mark.

ive flushed out the rinse aid just incase and used the bar of soap method n its done the trick, thanks for all the replies some good ones there for the future. 💡
