    Hi,

I’ve just moved into a house and the previous owners left a Glem-Gas range oven. I have a problem where the a couple of the hobs do not stay alight, something to do with the thermocoupler devices I think – usual issue where as soon as the ignition knob is released the gas stops and it goes out.

I have taken the top cover off the oven and can see it’s a simple arrangement where the brass couplers are simply bolted into the chassis plate with 2x 11mm nuts with a spade connector fitting to the back of the control knob.

I have removed and cleaned the spade connectors, refitted the oven and now find that the problem has shifted between hobs :rolls: so the ones that weren’t working now are a 2 of the ones that were know have stopped 😕

My question is, is this likely to be a coupler issue? – do they go intermittent? Could it be a problem with the arrangement on the back of the knob?

The model is 0$1S0Zc – all Italian made, I’m told it’s a good well made unit? – anyone got any experience with Glem-Gas?

    TIA

    John
