Hi all, I was hoping that someone may be able to help.

    I have a Bosch dishwasher model SGS5342GB/17

The whole upper spray arm assembly has come away from the back of the machine. I’m trying to fix it back on but there doesn’t seem to be a logical way to do so. I place it back but cannot lock it back into position.

I’ve had a look at the Bosch Customer Support website and found the diagram for my machine using the Quick Finder.

Looking at picture 6 it appears like it’s just a simple snap back on.

Part 29 8594 has come away totally from part 29 8592

Any advice or help would be much appreciated. Thanks

    Will

The spray tube and rotor clip onto the basket. It only engages with the rising tube when the basket is pushed home.

Many thanks indeed. What can I say….. I feel such a numpty, never noticed that before and makes perfect sense and have fitted back no problems.

Sorry for being such an idiot. I spent nearly 90 mins last night trying to fix it onto the back and taking all the filters etc apart looking for a “missing” retaining clip! :rotfl:

    Once again cheers!
