    We have a FP Smart Drive 501 which lately is not washing – the Start/Pause Button does not always respond to pressing . Using the diagnostics from the ‘Sticky’ I get 10010000, error code 9(?)… what are my options?

    9 is the Size setting error. If you have had the display board out recently, it may not have been relocated properly. This is a phase 2 machine, so the size is set by lugs on the case moulding working switches.

    Otherwise, do the usual checks for the lid switch and Out of balance switches – corrosion, wet/soggy wiring, failing microswitches.
