    Hi there,

I’m new to this forum so please excuse any faux pas I may make. I’ve done a search and read all of the sitckies so hopefully haven’t asked something that hasn’t already been answered.

We have a German model Bosch Maxx 6 Sensitive Condensor Dryer, Model WTE84100/01. It’s perhaps two to three years old and in our flat in Austria so gets light usage.

It’s now failing to dry any clothes. If you turn it on and start a drying cycle, it will spin normally for about three to five minutes. Then it stops, and the drying and finished indicator lights will flash together, accompanied by four rapid beeps. The beeps repeat every minute or so. The dryer doesn’t appear to have got warm at all.

We have checked the fluff filter and cleaned that out. Also, we’ve washed out the Air Cooler, as per the instructions in the Bosch manual that came with it. None of these seem to have made a difference.

Can anyone suggest anything? I’m guessing we’re going to have to call someone out to have a look at it.

    Many thanks,

    David.

    Hi
Given the fault you have (wish everyone was as precise when they post), I would be looking for a fault in the heating circuit 😉

    Un-plug appliance before investigating :plug:

Thanks very much for responding so quickly. I’m certainly not going to be opening it up myself! I’ll speak to Bosch here in Austria (with my very bad German), and get a man round. Just wondered if it was something obvious that I was missing.

    Cheers,

    David. 🙂
