If you are unable to drift out the drum shaft ( the spider is attached to this inside the drum) then you will need a new drum spider as well as the rear half. You have to split the drum into two halves before you attempt to drift out the old shaft. Then you will find that removing the bolts that hold the drum spider to the drum are seized in place, by this time you may be thinking ” why didn’t I get a professional in to do this job” 😉
