    Hello all,

    I need to get a washer dryer and I’m looking for recomendations. I’m in the position where I will not be able to buy new as I don’t currently have the budget, so will be eBaying/classified ad hunting etc..

    I’m looking for general recomendataions please, i.e. “top end hotpoins are good, don’t touch the lower mdel numbers” or “leave all Zanussi products alone” etc etc.

    I’m after something that’s quiet as poss, with delayed start function so I can wash/dry in off peak. A rating is alsoa requirement as is low water use (on a meter).

    Would appreciate any help/advice. May pop back on here with specific model numbers if and when I have a chance at one.

    Hopefully won’t be going for anything older than 2 years.

    Hi Griz,

    I wouldn’t recommend second hand. But then, I wouldn’t recommend a washer dryer either. 😉

    The reason is that way over 85{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of machines are gotten rid off because they have a fault or are at the end of their lives, most I’ve ever seen on Ebay are either ancient or trouble waiting to happen, if it hasn’t happened already and that’s people getting rid.

    yes, understand exactly what you’re saying, and very much have my eyes open when it comes to eBay; also eBay has some “graded” stock dealers on and eBay isn’t my only point of search.

    re: thw washer/dryer – I also understand your views on that, but I don’t have an option, I really, really, really do not have the space for separates. The machine’s not going to be heavily used, its only for me and my son when he comes to stay (2 or 3 days a week on average) so not a household of 5 or anything demanding like that.

    I agree with KW – Had to buy combined due to space – Bosch was the lowest option other than a J Lewis own brand. Bosch won as it was the only one in the end that would fit.
