    Hi,

Reading through the forums and I found that an error of AL3 on a Zanussi ZDI6895SX is most likely going to be the heating element.

My question is, would it be the Flow-Thru Heater, and if so where can I get at it to test?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Got it out, what is the best way to test it?

I have a multimeter, but don’t think it is the heater after looking at it. Should it be obvious if it is broken, i.e. burnt out connectors?

Wow! Good thread in that link.

    Thanks so much.

Just after putting it back together after finding a dry joint and re-soldering it, everything back to normal…at least for a while!

    Thanks again. Great Forum.
