ParticipantHi just fitted a heater unit 266196 to this dishwasher but the original turbidity sensor housing will not fit into this heater anybody know why this is ? is there one to fit this heater thanks

It has a new part number, so you have been sold a previous version.
The new p/no is now 491755.

The model number you give does not have a turbidity sensor fitted anyway, are you sure on the number? 😕

That model does have a turbidity sensor/aquasensor 😀
Its actually an Hydrosensor range of dishwashers 😉Greg

your right martin it does not show on bosch parts list does this other part no inclued a sensor or is it like the original thanks

IIRC its not available as a spare, it only comes with the heater, which makes us both think you have either the wrong model or you have been given the wrong heater in the box 😕 😀

There must be a number of anomalies regarding BSH and their listings regarding Instanteneous Water Heaters and Turbidity Sensor Units?
I fell foul of that last November (see attached link) :rolls:
