There’s more to it than meets the eye.

If that is the case would it not be prudent to remove the thread until your investigations are complete, an explanation of the obvious reasons for this should be communicated to the OP.
Whilst it sits there it could be doing harm to J Huby & UKWG’s when it may not be justified.

I suspect it’s not justified but I can’t arbitrarily delete it either due to my own damn rules. It’s a real swine when your own rules trip you up. 😕
I don’t delete posts because I don’t happen to like what they say, I never have, I never will, regardless of the pain they may cause me. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and, so long as it doesn’t strain normal decency or are obvious SPAM, I just won’t delete them. I might not like the opinion or comment but that doesn’t make it any less valid or truthful.
On the other hand…
People will see the comment and also see the response within minutes of the OP requesting more details and then, well so far at least, booger all else. That casts a poor light on the legitimacy of the claim/s made if the OP won’t or doesn’t bother to pursue it.
TBH though it’s welcome in a lot of ways as a little bit of negative adds authenticity, I mean if it was all 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} perfect I’d be a bit suss about it as life just doesn’t work like that. But as I often find myself saying, you’re not judged on making a mistake most often, you are however judged on how you put the error right.

KeymasterOne thing I have thought of (after Greg’s hastily deleted post) is perhaps we should have a pukka complaints procedure in place for repairs@ published, a basic “how to”.
That’s one for the TAC or AC so far as I’m concerned.

I deleted my post K because, by the time I had finished it, you had more or less answered it 😀
