My cooker works for about 10 minutes then the fan stops which causes the gas to turn off and the auto ingnition to start firing. After a few minutes the fan starts again and the gas comes on and fires up again. This carries on in a cycle and happens on both the oven and the seperate grill. Any idea’s please? I don’t have the model number as the plate has become badly burnt over the years. I think it might be APL 0529.

Hi, as Penguin said we are unable to offer advice on repairing your oven for safety reasons.

Your oven has a cooling fan which is electronically controlled – the fan motor is around £105 and the circuit board is around £140. I’d recommend calling out a professional to look at it and correctly diagnose the fault because the parts can get expensive and it could be any number of things causing it – those were just two examples.
