    Hi
We are thinking of buying a Smeg dual-fuel freestanding cooker and would like to know if anyone can give any advice on wether it is worth buying the more expensive version of the SUK61 series of cookers.

    One is the basic SUK61MFX5

The next one up has a special pizza element SUK61XPZ5

The top model has removable inner door glasses, glazed all removable
cooler door and pyrolitic cleaning + rotisserie function SUK61MPX5.

The glass door on my old cooker got filthy inside.
Will this happen to the Smeg?
If so I would like to be able to get in and clean the inside of the glass.

    Any comments/advice anyone?

    Thanks

    Hi

For the small difference in the price I would go with the SUK61XPZ5. If you went for the cheaper version and decided later to purchase the pizza items as accessories it would cost far more.

As far as door glass cleaning is concerned, the doors are easily removed as described in the instruction manual.

    Thanks Don

Do you have any views on pyrolitic linings?

    Hi

I found the following which explains the pyrolitic cycle.

    Thanks

I’m now on a search for a cooker without a cooling fan
    over on the cooker forum.
Oh for a bit of peace and quiet in the kitchen 😉
