    s5443x1gb/17 this model has lost its beep!!!!! when the program has finnished it dosent make a noise and when the door is opened the end light is on as well as the prog used light it is completing progs ok but the customer is longing for the beep. is it a case of replacing the pcb or can it be altered in any way???????????????

    Hi
    Post FD8012, you can activate/deactivate buzzer by –
    Opening the door and at the same time pressing button 3 and the main switch. Correct activation will result in the LED above button 3 to flash.
    Release button,then by pressing button 3 you can now toggle between buzzer and no buzzer 😀
    Switching off the appliance stores the setting 😉
