Our old dishwasher finally gave up the ghost recently and in a hurry I bought a Proline Logic to replace it.
The new machine does everything we need it to do but it won’t work on a timeswitch.
Is there something I am missing or is this just the way things are?

Hi Richard
If the machine has a mechanical switch ie it stays in when pressed in, then yes it should work with an external timer. Machines with the touch switches need to have the delay start function as a feature built into the machine for it to switch on automatically.

Thanks Don, Sadly the machine does not have an “on” switch which stays pressed in.
On the positive side I may have found the model number, not on the machine but on the receipt, DWF1250P.

Just checked the spec on the Comet web site and sadly it does not have a delay start timer. But then at that price I would not expect it to 😉 .
