    switch w/m on at plug, don’t touch any control on facia, machine starts, takes in water and pumps it out at same time, FO3 flashes…only way to stop machine is to switch off at plug. F03 is listed as NTC fault. checked it with multimeter and cheked heater element both ok. suggestions please or is it likely to be the board?

    Had exactly the same symptom on an built in Indesit washer dryer today. Although it showed F03 fault code (NTC) I was thrown by the filling at turn on symptom. The NTC tested out ok with the test meter.

    To be sure of the diagnosis I connected a van stock Hotpoint thermistor to the terminals to see what happened and the fault disappeared!

    I am going back next week with the correct NTC.
