had three in the last two days where the Bulb has blown and taken out the 3A fuse in the plug on two, and the other was in a fixed spur which was on the wall next to the hood.
The plugs were hidden behind the chimney and needed half the hood removing to sort .
Just wondered if anyone else gets as fed with plugs behind chimneys as I do?

All the time Lawrence, unusual to find one with the correct fuse though…most installers wack a 13amp in hence blown switch boards, bulb holders all due to the bulb going. oh and hunt the plug is a regular game, found one once under the bed in the upstairs bedroom over the kitchen! Dont ever trust the customers word, they will swear blind there isnt one and the cooker switch does the hood as well. oh and dont get me started on earthed or non earthed hoods, there is a previous thread somewhere.
