    Hi

I have a Beko WMA 520S wahsing machine. It has a hole in the rubber sump hose. There will be none of these hoses available until 4 weeks from now. Can I stick any old hose on there or one from another machine?? Otherwise I’ll have to buy another machine.

    Help!

    Hi Rufus

Have you tried our own spares shop ? Click the link “find a spare part” in your last post. Dave may be able to help 😉

    Hi Don

I called the number but didn’t have my model listed. They also said that it would be 4 weeks wait from any supplier.

So my original question, could I use any similar diameter hose? OR one from another machine?

No, they are normally unique to a range or machine.

In the short term yes, as long as you get a nice fit to stop any potential leak causing any damage. Only problem is finding one which is similar?

    Hi

Thanks for your help. I think I’ll try to fit a different pipe on and look for a new washer. I’m only using the Beko I had as a spare as my AEG broke the other day. I think it might be time for a Miele as the machine is used once a day. Do Miele do larger machines or just 6 kg drums?

Can anyone recommend a large capacity machine?

    Hi

If I had a choice of quantity over quality, quality of wash would win every time. If you want a good quality machine with a long guarantee and a good service backup, have a look at the ISE 10. Anything else would be a compromise IMO
