Purchased from those lovely people Currys when they had a small shop in West Street, Reading (next to the Wimpy Grill 😉 ) way way back in 1974. (Cost me over £200 at the time, maybe more I forget? 🙁 ). It’s a Sanyo EM8003T and works like a dream, always has done, never failed (never even changed the lightbulb) and used daily!
Oh, and the microwave on top is a rebadged Sanyo for De Dietrich that I was given some 20 odd years back by a customer of mine who changed her fitted kitchen to all white appliances and didn’t want a brown one in there. 😉 That too has never let me down….ha so to Japanese technology I guess? 😀

The last line of the article says it all really :rolls: .
But for a microwave that costs less than £30 are we really surprised that it’s poor quality… well, no, not really.
