ParticipantWhen I last saw John he said the ISE5 was going to be changed. Is this happening?

Well, you didn’t expect me to commit to a date did you? 😆
It should be replaced in the summer we hope but, we’ve only just started on sorting it all out.
If you want a look at the pre-production model you can see it at the Sibson meeting.

Delivered a couple of 2s this morning – they were a bit different as well 😀 .

Will it still be a 1500 spin with a 6kg load?
On a purely selfish note a ‘time left’ display and a 30 minute quick wash would definitely help me to sell it. There not being a quickwash is one of the main negatives. (for my customers)
Oh…..and another small point will it be retailing at £399 rather than £449?
Tell me to shut up if I’m getting above my station. 😉

Not at all Tim but… you can’t have it all I’m afraid. 😉
If I were a betting man, which I’m not but anyway, I’d bet on a digital countdown timer being there, >40 minute quick wash (there is one on the current machine that Which? rated well) and it will probably got to being a 1600rpm 6Kg machine.
We looked at the price but it’s always a bit of a nightmare balancing price against features and, sadly, usually you can’t have both but with that said we have looked at it.

From the back of the SAAB 😯 😆Still far to many darned stickers on them, they take some shifting in this cold weather and I’m sure the transit bolts are getting harder to remove on these, did one yesterday, had to remove the bolts completely, then the white plastic inserts before prising out the rubber grommets and retrieving the plastic guides from underneath.

If it’s the same as the prototype John showed me – it’s VERY nice!! Impressive and bold design that suggests quality on sight. Should be extremely quiet with a silent induction motor! And best of all, it looks completely different than the current model in the way that it looks unique.
😉
Well done Ken, John and co. at ISE. If you can’t sell this new ISE 5, then you ought to check yourself for a pulse. 😀
I look forward to a delivery of these……Steve.

I like it, especially the robust sump hose, 😉 8)
Looks great as well.
The odd tweak here and there and it will be a winner for sure.

Jim, I`m beginning to think you have a sump hose fettish 😀

Hi folks,
Well despite production delays, high winds, ports closed and the discovery of a bomb at the UK port, the new ISE5’s are here!
It’s a long story (as usual) that I will try to write up as it actually borders on being unbelievable but, they’re here and deliveries have already started.

Received mine this afternoon. Many thanks to Sean and all those involved for working so hard to get machines to us quickly. I am sure our customers will be delighted.
