reported fault no long spin… true…tried the 2 other spin programes, both ok…drain pump action and spin..back to long spin…nothing, no drain pump and no spin. checked brushes ..about 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} worn… i would have changed them but i reasoned that without drain pump there still would be no spin… any offers

    Hi Richard!!
You need to look at the main PCB (at the top front right of the machine). Unplug the 2 wire plug that goes through the hole in the plastic cover and remove the cover. You will see a row of triacs / transistors. IIRC, the 5th one along (counting from the centre of the PCB) is the pump supply. These often blow or burn out and give intermittent pump faults. Usually condensation dripping on the pump below will cause this. New PCB will probably be required.
Whether the PCB is fried or not, for peace of mind fit a new pump and make sure you cover it with a plastic shield to prevent it reoccurring. 😉

    Hope that helps,

    Steve.
