Hi, and thanks for a great forum, I have found a couple of questions answered here before in other threads.
The problem with my dishwasher is that it starts a program, and after a while flashes 4 times, then pause, then 4 again, etc.
I have cleaned filters, the water comes in, gets heated, and drains fine. I can “force” it to run again, and it sometimes runs a full program, but its not very reliable. I am thinking it could be a bad connection somewhere, but as its a built-in model, I really want to wait, before pulling the whole thing out, if there is an easy solution to the problem.
By the way, where do you engineers find the codes for the flashing lights? I can’t find it in my manuals, and i can’t find them on the internet.

Four flashes is no drain detected in the time allowed. From what you have said, it sounds like it does actually drain, therefore it may well be the sensor which is not working correctly. Remove bottom basket and filters. In the three o’clock position in the sump, you shoud see a black grid, this a pressure switch. The thing fills up with congealed fat and grease and jams in the full position. You may be able to scrub it out with hot water and an old tooth brush in situ. If you’re getting no joy, the unit is a twist fit from underneath.
Power off if you need to go that route.

Great, this solved my problem, and i have now been running smooth since your post.
Today, my wife had a problem with it. The LED is now blinking 2, pause, 2, pause, 2, pause, etc.
I have cleaned everything, including the black “plate”, filled with water, which gets pumped out immediatley when i hold the button in for 3 secs to “force” it to run.
Penguin, could you please tell me what the 2-blink code means on this machine? Thanks again mate.

Flood protection activated – the tray under the machine is holding water. Drain it off and find the leak. If you did remove the level switch for cleaning, I’d start there.

Hello Penguin45! Good day! I was glad to follow Your advice and just decided its a similar problem. I also found out after that the water pressure switch is leaking.
Give one piece of advice, please. I can’t uninstall the water pressure switch: I tried to spin it in the only possible direction, but it is not spinning what am I doing wrong? Is it possible to strengthen the movement of the tool or it could break?
