    This dryer keeps tripping the TOC at the back. I wanted to renew the control thermostat but I ordered the wrong one. I ordered 173395 which turned out to be the front exhaust ‘stat. There is also 173396 which Connect list as another front thermostat and 173397 which looks in the photo like the TOC with reset button. Which is the one I need?

    173396 is at the back of the dryer next to the resetable stat which is 173397.

    Thanks Bazza. Ah, so it is Connect who are wrong by listing 173396 as a front stat. I had chosen 173395 by eliminating the other 2 as being the wrong ones. 🙁

    Why don’t you open a trade account with BSH and cut out the middle man?

    Or just ring up and say you are trde each time you order to get discount.

    Ringing BSH can be a nightmare getting through. Better an on-line account to speed up the process every time! 😉
