    Hi all hoover f/f hca 455 fk pw anyone know what an 08 error code is for this appliance? thanks.

    As per hoover site it is :-

    THE DURATION OF THE DEFROSTING OF THE FREEZER’S EVAPORATOR
    WAS SHORTER THAN 15 SECONDS, FOR THREE TIMES IN SEQUENCE.

    ok thanks for that. when i went to this it was running ok apart from the freezer was thick with ice jammed the fan up etc, now ive thawed it out it starts to run for 10 seconds then just stops and does nothing. it just goes into test mode ,counts down from test 9 -test 1 then just shows error 08 and wont start. any ideas ? thanks.

    wow that is big but just what i needed thats for your help have to charge customer extra for ink and paper.
