    Hi, I am looking to purchase a new fitted kitchen from Howdens. The appliances that I was going to purchase with the units are listed below, can anyone tell me who manufactures them and if they are reliable?

    – Double multi-function oven ADP4610
    – Five burner Gas hob HJA1107
    – Chimmney Extractor HJA2440

    As I am looking to purchase a free standing fridge-freezer serarately, can any one advise if there are any brands in particular I should stay clear of.

    Hi

    Howdens are part of the MFI group. More than likely these will be mainly Hygena and Diplomat, quality is alright but not one of the best for the price you will pay. I would rather look at someone like the Neff range for longevity of life and service back up, they also have a two year warranty.

    Howden are not part of MFI any more.

    Limited range of appliances but quality is much better than it was.

    Own brand ovens/hobs/dishwashers from Beko.

    Hoods from Cata.

    Hi,

    Many thanks for your responces. I was able to access the fridge freezer link and found in enlightening.

    As for the Howdens/MFI link I had heard that too.
