Initial complaint, stopped full of water but she managed to empty after reset.
Customer also complained that detergent drawer did not open.

Set machine to prewash and it completed full prewash although it did seem to take longer than the 8 minutes listed in the manual.

Set it to delicate wash, machine drained, filled then washed for a couple of minutes then stopped dead, no beeps, no error codes displayed just the delicate wash light on steady.

Tried a couple of other programmes and even set it back to prewash and on all programmes it stops after a few minutes, even the prewash. 😕

Dispenser solenoid was OK but slaved on a new one just in case to no avail.

All base components appear fine, am I looking at a PCB fault and if so does anyone know the part number?

    Jim.

    Hi Jim!! :waving:

PCB is part no. 816290672. Probably the culprit – you seem to have tried everything I would have, and arrived at the same conclusion.

    HTH,

    Steve.

Cheers Steve, will give her the bad news, I don’t think EMW or QER repair Smeg modules, pity. 😥

    PCB…….

QER say they fix them, but it seems to be 50/50.

Expensive machine, quote them lots 😀 .
