hi guys have to look at a servis washing machine the machine is not taking the fabric conditioner. is mostl liklely just a blockage in the drawer or does the service have a arm from the timer that connects to a cam on the dispencer. to direct the water flow to the conditioner compartment. i think she said something about when put on program 1 it would not move on. and she had to stop using powder that when she removed the clothes their was washing powder on them. thanks fasetester 🙂

    Re: service

depends on model, the older ones used an arm the newer ones used 2 actuators mounted on top of the soap drawer which sometimes popped out causing problems, the newest use a double valve with both coils activating at once to divert the water to centre comp.I generally blow down the pipes and also open the hile up inside disp with a small screwdriver or allen key to stop blockages.

thanks robinson for the reply. do you mean you blow down the pipe from the valves. what is a hile up inside the disp and what are actvators and how do the work. and if poped out can the be put back in thanks fasetester 😕

    Re: servis

The original set-up used a steerable jet in the soap box, which was operated by a connecting rod to a lever tracking a cam on the front of the timer.

The current fully digital machines have two actuators on top of the soap box, not unlike the red dishwasher solenoids. They can operate singley or together to operate the jet.

The double valve works as a cross over on top of the box – the hose entering from the left fills the right compartment, the one from the right fills the left compartment. If both valves are on together, the flow meets in the middle and diverts to the centre compartment. Bosch have been doing this for years. If the roof of the soapbox becomes clagged up, this won’t work…….

    Re: servis

sorry hile was supposed to be HOLE 😳 . i just open this up a little to help from getting blocked. the actuators are in a plastic frame which sometimes dislodges you can just push it back down and i tie wrap in place. and yes i disconnect from valve and blow down the pipes you can gen see the gunk which comes out in the drawer.

    hope this helps chris

    Re: servis

hi guys went to see machine checked valves seem ok. removed hoses and blew down pipes going to brawer. when machine is put on any cycle the pump would try and kick in but just give a jolt. removed filter all blocked up. cleaned filter still the same removed hoses going to the pump plus took pump off and checked nothing blocking it. then it would start to fill when got to the level would not stop checked pressure system nothing blocking it . then you could here the pump try to kick in. any idea what the problum would be. you could here a relay clicking for sec on control card when the pump was trying to start. the model is S/N20050500556

    Re: servis

That model number is a serial number Fase. (S/no. means serial number)

The model you’ve got is a M6011. I would say you are looking at pressure switch or module giving you that fault.

thanks tim for your reply when you select a program the pump should not run first. or try and run it should bring in the water. is there any way to reset this machine. when empying machine by lowering hose you can hear the pressure switch click. when the tub is empyed fasetester 😕

    Re: servis

to reset machine with the power on you turn it to STOP and the light should flash. a lot of these servis machines do empty before filling similair to d/washers. if it is kicking in and out i would prob say board,a lot of strange probs with electronics.

    cheers chris

chris this machine has a double valve. see these actuators are the on top of the soapbox or under the top of the sopbox or does this machine not have them. thanks fasetester 😳

    Re: servis

If it’s got a double cold valve, it won’t have the actuators. When present, they are on the soapbox top.

thanks chris for clearing that up. what would you think was wrong with this machine should the board show any kind of damage. is there any way of testing these boards thanks all for your help fasetester

    Re: servis

There’s no test procedure. It’ll be (as they’ve said above) blocked roof of soap box or solenoid coil failure on the valve. Failing that, one of the triacs may have gone down on the PCB – check for power to coils on last rinse; both should activate.

    Re: servis

    I think this is the critical part of Fases fault;

then it would start to fill when got to the level would not stop checked pressure system nothing blocking it . then you could here the pump try to kick in.

Therefore if Fases explanation of fault is correct I would assume it has nothing to do with valves or blockages.
