Hotpoint WT540/1p head scratcher!

This thing,close the door ,door locked light comes on the m/c begins to fill whatever programme you’re on for about 15 maybe 20 secs,then empties & keeps filling,then the rinse hold & mini load lights flash whilst the on/off button flashes rapidly.The only way to stop this is to switch of at the mains otherwise it just keeps running! Help!!

If I remember correctly this is led 3 & 4 flashing. If so fault listed below.

F03 NTC short/open circuit: check thermistor & module connections.

Thanx guys,what sort of reading should i get on the NTC as i’ve never had a prob with them before. Once again many thanx.

At room temperature (i.e 21c) approx 12000 Ohms I would think? 😉

just put a pcb and eprom on it.. go on, u know you want to………..

Hmm i’m sure the customer would love that,personally I’d put a hammer in it,its just cack! 😡 😡 :rolls:
