95313610000lady says that her dryer will start the program fine and after a few minutes just stops.
She thinks that all the horizontal lights on the consol light up when the program stops except the very left hand side one, she is checking this though.
She then turns the timer dial round again and restarts it, again it will run for a few minutes then stops.
It is heating ok and the condensor and filter are clean,
any common fault to look for before i go and strip it down

heater cut out
as the heater only comes on on the 1st reverse tumble on that model

ok I’ll check it out , but the lady says the clothes are warm when it stops.
When you say the heater cut out do you mean the thermal cut outs above the heater?
surely there would be no heat if they were faulty.
and the dryer reverses several times before stopping.

Hi John, I had the same problem with a hotpoint TC11 model a while ago.
It was the start relay.
Not sure if yours is a similar model?

is the pcb mounted on the right hand side of the machine at the top?
