A month or so ago I spent a load of time & effort fixing this MC as it had a “stops after a short while” problem which turned out to be the door interlock and at the same time successfully cleaned out the IWMS – after this the machine worked fine – however it has just “died” without warning.

It has power to the back of the MC from the mains but the light on the main on/off switch does not go on/off when the switch is switched. None of the other lights on the front light up. The switch makes and breaks ok (tested with a meter)

When I check the input at the main on/off switch my meter tells me it has around 60 VAC which confuses me as I would have expected 240 VAC.

Searching the forum suggests the transformer on the control board but from what others say when this fails the door switch light still works – so not sure.

    any help appreciated

    Cheers

An inspection of the cable entry point/terminal block is in order, I should think.

Continuity testing should be adequate – we cannot condone live testing.
