    Hi all,

    I’ve been offered an ex-display Siemens WXLI 1240 for £400 (normally £500-£629 says the internet).

    However I can’t find out much about it or the specs and just wondered if it was discontinued for a reason. Should I rush out with £400 and snap it up or keep looking? I’m not too bothered about millions of functions and programmes but it needs to be integrated, reasonably stylish and quiet.

    Model numbers change about once a year sometimes the change to the actual appliance may be only cosmetic. Looking back through my price lists that machine was discontinued somewhere round last August but it will still be covered by the Siemens two year warranty.

    At £400 it is a good buy. I would check to make sure the installation kit is there along with the instructions on install and how to use the appliance. You will not find anything out there at that sort of price to compare it with, so I would get snapping 😉

    Thanks Don – as I’m buying some other Siemens stuff from them I got it for £300 😀

    Is it complete with the istallation instructions and user manual?
