    Hi Folks.

    Went to this job a few days ago not filling Aquastop buzzing. Fitted new Aquastop today, now fills straight away, trouble is it wont stop filling. It starts to fill as soon as you hit the mains on off switch. I guess this is s/c triac on the control module but is there anything I may have missed?.

    Like you said, it may be triac, I would say you are on the money there 😉 If you are handy with a soldering iron you can component change the errant component. 😀

    Suitably armed with your excellent info I took a closer look at the module ,and the Triac has indeed gone. (corner blown off) dont know how I missed it the first time, I guess its time for a visit to specsavers. The senario here is probably that the Aquastop has failed and the d/w has been left on in fault condition for a long period and the triac just gave up. I would consider myself a “dab Hand” with a soldering iron but I have never had much success with this surface mount stuff, still got nothing to lose really.
    Anyone know where I can get a Z9M A115 or equivalent?

    Try RS or Maplin and use a low wattage iron like an Antex 15W 😉
