    had this from custome who had tried to fit new belt..fitted belt, turned on and off it whent. paused to reverse and stopped. motor buzzing…changed capacitor, no motor action…suggestions please.

    Is the motor still buzzing after changing the capacitor?

    Try it with the belt off, has the rear bearing collapsed?

    Belt should be the later 9 rib 1703666.

    jim. motor still buzzing after cap changed, bearing if fine, belt is correct one. thanks for reply

    can anyone send a wiring diagram for this t/d, especially the timer wiring.

    Have you checked the large relay at the front ???

    part number 1702923 🙂

    Old style, box relay for this is listed as 1701624. New PCB type relay is 1703617.

    Would the motor hum if the relay was faulty, usually cuts out altogether?

    Timer is the same as VTD00. Will try to dig out wiring for that one, might have to wait until after the footie though. 😉

    Do you have the date code Richard?

    jim, no real progress on this yet,,, time is the old enemy, however my engineer nathan confesses, under torture that he MAY have made a SMALL error when he rewired the door “interlock” three wires but there is no info on wiring diags i’ve been sent of a 3 terminal “interlock” ..have you got one?

    if you look at the door lock on the floor so spring on left and catch on right then from right to left :- red + white — brown(think it is anyway, other two are correct) — grey.
