    can anyone help me? i have an integrated stoves q600 dw . the lcd readout has decided to pack in. the dishwasher still works fine, but it is a bit of guesswork as to which program it goes on(counting beeps)i got home today and the kids have been pushing buttons and it wont do anything now!i have looked everywhere(i think)but cant find anywhere to download or buy a copy of the MI. i would reallyappreciate any advice. thanks in advance!! 😥

    I can tell you that it’s a SMEG machine. If the LCD display goes down it’s always a PCB fault. If you cannot get it to programme at all, the door latch may well be stuck in the closed position.

    thanks penguin. managed to find the model number on the smeg site but no manual! thanks for the info much appreciated.

    hi its me again with the dodgy stoves dishwasher! looked at the door cacth today and i think it is working ok, when the machine is switched on push the program button(it beeps) when the door is closed there is a pause of 2 seconds and then two beeps, usually the machine starts but not any more. any ideas? i have contacted stoves who have not answered my email, smeg did but they just told me that this was not their machine. the q600 dw is listed on the smeg site but no manuals but it is not on the stoves site. i told smeg this but they said it is not their machine. any ideas? i really would appreciate your help! i will gladly repay any advice with some top notch boiler and gas safety advice,(corgi reg188144) 😉

    Tricky one to call really – we know that the pcb is already faulty, I presume it has died altogether.

    An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk may be your best course of action – if Dave can’t find the bits, they aren’t out there.

    thanks again penguin, will throw you some fish sometime. any particular type ? the lcd read out started fading ages ago, now its is dead altogether, i took the pcb out yesterday and there was some kind of deposit between some of the solder contacts, i tried cleaning it out but to no avail!, i will email your chap , thanks again.
