    The dishwasher detergent door is not opening during the cycle so the dishes are getting washed in just water (not very well!)

    Is it a case of the opening solenoid blown?

    If so which part do I need and how do I fit it?

    Almost certainly the solenoid failed – replacement assembly required. P/no 812890061, spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get you one quickly.

    Fitting is a screwdriver job with the door outer panel (and the electric) off.

    is this the indesit badged dishwasher?
    if it is there is a temp sensor off the module, if the spray arms block the sensor doesnt pick up and the dispenser doesnt operate

    I found this thread with Google looking for a solution to fix my dishwasher tablet door not opening.

    I ordered the part described, The part arrived really fast and was really simple to fit.

    The part has changed design slightly (see pics below) and I was a little concered about getting the connections the correct way around, but it all works great again!

    New part against old part inside
