Originally called to change split lower door seal, reported flooding problem turned out to be sticking magnetic float…all sorted.two weeks later flooding again and drain out fault.Pump intermittently jams. Can this pump jam cause to the machine to fill again on top of the previous fill and therefore flood. Also have read about certain models/fd’s needing a conversion to get away from magnetic float. This FD is 8206.Is this conversion kit expensive if its needed

On this one Im sure you can’t fill ontop of a fill as the float would rise and shut off when at correct fill level.
Moslt likely sticking float (PITA they were) or customer watched you and tried to clean float travel and put float back in upside down 😕 😀
Yours is one of the first of this range and most probably will need the “kit”.
Module 489492 £67.40 + VAT and the safety sytem (mushroom float unit) 489542 £5.06 + VAT
Worth checking is that the float isn’t taking in water also 😉
Im sure some other Bosch guys will confirm please 😀
