Our otherwise reliable bosch S9F1B is taking several hours to finish a program, I have had previous problems some time ago with stopping on a cycle but I tracked it down to a dry joint on the heater relay. The water seems to heat but possibly not as well as it once did. The spray arms and discharge pump seem OK but there is sometimes dirty water left after a full run. The problem seems to affect all the programs and has got progressivly worse. Any Ideas? 😥

Check the drain connection ie is it backflowing from sink etc, and if you could get the full model number off the appliance itself that would be great 😀

    Hi
Worth checking the heater, it should read app 20 ohms. Unplug first 😀
Make sure there is sufficient water in tank when washing. The water level should be about half an inch below teh lower spray arm
If its not that high, its worth clearing the clear ribbed transfer tube which runs from the metering unit on the left to the sump. Access is by removing the front lower plinth.
As said before, make sure that there is no way that the drain hose can backfill from where its connected ie sink.
