    Hello,

    What a great forum this is!!

    I have a problem with my 3 year old Whirlpool DWF417 – from other posts on here i think its a smeg model;

    Service 8545 856 15610

    The problem I have is it stops about three quarters through the cycle and beeps twice, churns for a couple of seconds, beeps twice, churns …. and so on.
    When I open the door the bottom of the dishwasher is full with water. I think its stopping before it starts the rinse cycle.
    If I change the programme it epmties and starts the programme before stopping at the same point again.

    Any Ideas anyone? Any help would be much apreciated.

    Fairly classic computer board failure symptoms, I’m afraid. New board is around £130 last time I checked 🙁 .

    I have the same problem as Mike Daley with the sme model of machine. Would the failed part be the Smeg electronic Timer with code 696290673? Is this part (which presumably goes in the top of the door behind the panel easily fittable?
