hi all,have a hotpoint wf620 which was displaying error code f 05,and as was suggested on another post i removed and cleaned the pump,first wash after cleaning pump went fine but now when i do a wash the cycle stops with a minute remaining and door stays locked(always use program f,dont know if thats relevant)any help much appreciated

dont know if this is relevant but i tried a wash using cycle L(quick wash 60 degrees)and during that cycle had a mini flood when water came out via dispenser drawer,once again any help appreciated

When you say ‘cleaning pump’ did you also clear out the sump filter inside the large black rubber sump hose, if not then that is where your problem lies.

must be that as the machine will still spin with water in it and it will exit out of the soap dispenser

just want to say thanks very much for all your advice,cleaned the sump as suggested( could not believe the crap that was in there,childs watch,countless hair band,s and enough money to buy myself a pint)put on a wash which came out perfectly and no flooding,now doing a maintenance wash,hopfully thats the end of my problems,once again thanks very much

It will only be the end of your problems if the operator of this machine takes notice of the user manual, in particular the bit that says, ‘check all pockets’ :rolls: 😉 If not one of these days a coin may punch a large hole in the outer drum and you will be looking at serious expense.
