    hi have this cda draining problem model CDA 494. Drain pump is fine and there doesn’t seem to be any blockages. When the drain pump comes on it imedatly beeps with an error. with pump off but still connected it the impellor goes round lovly but when under pressure with water in it appears no to work. Poss Drian pump weak?????? please help 😕

    Assuming it’s a permanent magnet plaset/askoll/hanninig whatever.You’ve tried stopping impellor by applying pressure to the top of it? Not unknown for impellor to rotate fine until a little pressure applied. Sometimes they just break off completely.

    Sometimes Askoll pumps can appear to be rotating but are actually just vibrating. That wouldn’t give you an error message though, until it had timed out on draining. I’d change it and see what happens.
