ParticipantI have noticed that the soap draw can be quite difficult to get out to clean especially for the OAPs. The ones we have sold recently have been to this generation and i am concearned that when they want to remove them to clean they will be calling us to get them out.
If there is a easy way round this let me know.
Or is it possible to look at another option of draw with the manufacture?Steven

KeymasterI can’t say that I’ve found it hard to remove TBH Steven. 😕
Pull, press, out pretty much.

I have no problem myself and probably the majority of us can do it, but we have sold quite a few to customers in there 80s /90s with difficulty with pressing down using arthrictic fingers.
They find the controls now a lot easier to select compared to their old ones as its electronic, but when i have demonstrated the machine and explaine how to remove the draw for cleaning purposes they find it awkward.
With pratice i am sure they will manage it.We have a large population of OAP in this neck of the woods and we need to bear these things in mind for them too, equality and all that.
I just thought by mentioning this if any one else has come across it. 😳

KeymasterRe: Soap Draw
No worries Steven but it’s not something I’ve yet come across myself.
I guess that if you were really arthritic you’d likely have a problem but then you’d have a problem with a lot of machines as many seem to be the same kind of drawer design these days.
Saying that, they could always buy a 10 as they’re a lot easier! 😆

I’ve had them say the same thing to me Steve. I just say that I’m sorry but we dont sell one with a three month gurantee. Some of them even see the funny side.
