Amica has launched a range of freestanding double ovens designed and manufactured by the company itself and very precisely for the UK and Irish markets.
Simon Freear, Country Manager for the UK and Ireland says “Amica’s core-competence is engineering cooking appliances, developing technologies with real environmental advantage. Producing a double oven for the UK has always been a priority but it was crucial that it was the right product for the British cook, and not simply an amalgamation of two existing single cavity products. We’ve been able to develop a strong offer of double ovens and twin cavity products for the freestanding sector with built-in due to follow as a next step.”
The new freestanding cookers comprise a choice of 60cm or 50cm models with induction hob, ceramic hob, gas or electric hob. Each is rated A/A energy class and every one offers great capacity in two spacious chambers. Colour choices include matt black, stainless steel and white. Most include telescopic guides and a choice of five shelf positions, a minute minder or programmer, flame failure safety valves (gas) and triple glazed Cool-front ovens doors.
