Redoing a kitchen an went to the MFI clearance centre in Dudley where I saw a brand new diplomat dishwasher for £120 (there was a few there)

Being on a tight budget (as we are redoing the entire house from bare brick), I wanted to know if these were any good and what the erergy effieciency ratings were like?

If this is no good, are there any others that can be recommended?

also are Diplomat goods decen in general as I saw a nice double oven there as well as a fridge freezer

    Thanks in advance

At that price, it’s a steal. Whirlpool-built machine, so reasonable quality although there is a known issue with the circulation motor when the machines get to 2/3 years old.

The cooking products come from a variety of different sources and vary from excellent to cheap and cheerful – if you know what models you are interested in, we may be able to advise further.

Don’t know much about fridges, I’m afraid.

    Article on circ. motor here:

Motor is currently approx £90, but it’s a calculated risk – £400 dishwasher for £120, and maybe £150 to pay in a few years time.
