    We have a NEFF B1421 oven and a NEFF H7871 microwave / oven, fitted on top of each other.

    Recently the NEFF oven has stopped heating, the grill still works fine. Looking at this forum it seems the oven element has failed and needs replacing.

    We do not use the microwave / oven very often, but since the other one has stopped working we have used it more. We have noticed small ‘electric shocks’ when we touch the oven with damp hands. Also, the oven tends to switch itself off when the doors are opened. Obviously, we have some safety concerns about this. Any suggestions?

    My suggestion would be to get an electrician in to check the electrical feed to the appliance.
    You should not get any shocks off of the appliance.
    Cease using it and unplug/switch off until checked ❗
