The machine works on wash but when on Dryer Cycle there is no heat or fan noise and hence no drying. You can hear the condenser pump working though. Is this economical to repair? Is it the blower motor unit which I have seen for about £125 since it sems fan is not working?

Blower motor is prone to seizing – if it does, the reset safety soon cuts off the heat.

P/no is 140595, showing at £106.34 from BSH.

Years ago, I did pull one apart and replace the bearings – a slow and time consuming job, not really a cost effective repair from a professional point of view.

Power off if you’re going to go in.

    Many thanks
I’ll give that a go instead of replacing if I can do it myself. Not too bad on the old DIY!!

its definitely reset stat needs pressing, they can just go due to the cool down period being skipped or condenser might be blocked….80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} its a case of reset the stat and off u go!
    switch off mains first!
